MINI - GRANTS

HCN is committed to fostering innovation and cultural vitality within San Francisco's Black community.

Our two distinct Mini-Grants Programs are designed to support social justice initiatives and cultural preservation efforts.

  1. Community Innovation Mini-Grants:  Empowering the Black/African American unhoused community and those facing housing instability—this program fuels social change through grants that encourage community-driven innovation.

  2. Afro-Cultural Preservation LGBTQIA+ Mini-Grants:  This program focuses on celebrating and maintaining the rich Black LGBTQIA+ heritage of San Francisco. By funding local arts, history, and cultural projects, it aims to fortify the community's identity and promote social equity.
