Mental Health Prevention and Wellness Services
BBHI offers services to connect with individuals and organizations supporting Black/African American families, birthing individuals, and prenatal/postpartum populations, seeking opportunities to enhance engagement models and services. Our services aim to establish vital connections with individuals and organizations committed to supporting these communities, identifying opportunities for enhancing engagement models and services that promote mental health and overall well-being.
Linkages and Referrals
As part of BBHI's commitment to strengthen our collaborative approach, we prioritize building and nurturing key community partnerships. We actively engage in internal and cross-agency discussions to better understand and address current events and concerns affecting the Black community and birthing individuals in San Francisco. Additionally, we identify potential community-based organizations to enhance our community collaboration.
Community Trainings
BBHI's services are centered on community engagement and client-centered mental health care tailored to the needs of Black birthing individuals and the broader Black community. We actively connect with individuals and community-based organizations, fostering relationships, and participating in local events to enhance our outreach. Our services are committed to community training and culturally tailored resources that promote mental health and wellness within the Black community and among birthing individuals.
