Introducing HCN's New CFO: Jackie Ondatje




Dr. April Y. Silas, the Board of Directors, and the entire staff at Homeless Children’s Network are thrilled to announce Jackie Ondatje’s appointment as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer.


For the past two years, Jackie has been instrumental in managing HCN’s financial and operational needs, overseeing enhancements in policies, procedures, and infrastructure to support the organization’s growth. Her forward-thinking approach and unwavering dedication to HCN’s mission have made a profound impact.


Jackie’s career journey began in the restaurant industry, followed by an early role in tax consulting after college. Her passion for meaningful work led her to the nonprofit sector in the Bay Area in 2013, where she committed herself to causes close to her heart. She spent nine years building her expertise in finance at Boys and Girls Clubs before bringing her skills to HCN.


Originally from Southern California’s San Gabriel Valley, Jackie holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Hawai’i Pacific University. She is a Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional and is currently preparing for the Certified Management Accountant exams, underscoring her commitment to excellence.
