About CHOPP

CHOPP (Community Holistic Overdose Prevention Program) is a peer-based Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program dedicated to reducing and preventing overdose deaths while addressing the opioid epidemic through outreach, education, and recovery support. Our mission is to promote healing, connection, and empowerment for individuals and families impacted by substance use.

Street Outreach Efforts

CHOPP conducts active street outreach to connect community members with recovery programs, harm reduction resources, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) options. Our outreach team builds trust in the community, meeting people where they are to provide judgment-free support and pathways to recovery.
