HCN Donor Advocates
Become a Donor Advocate
HCN's Donor Advocates is a community of passionate supporters coming together to build a foundation of sustainability for homeless children and families in San Francisco.
​
Especially now, demand for our services is growing as public funding shrinks. Donor Advocates aim to fill that gap by creating a network of care among their peers and fostering a spirit of compassion that will last for years to come.
​
​The goal is to raise $100,000 in 2026 through fundraising efforts organized by our Advocates in their networks, whether it's a birthday party, a walk-a-thon, or a social media fundraiser.
The Role and Commitment
You commit to activating your community of likeminded and passionate people looking to champion HCN's holistic programs designed to provide extensive, long-term mental health and direct support to families.

The duration: One year.
The goal: To raise at least $5,000 through fundraisers organized by the advocate with support from HCN.
Timeline
HCN will provide you training, support, and opportunities to connect with fellow advocates throughout the year.

We have a cohort of amazing and passionate longtime supporters who will equip you with the tools, skills, and resources to engage your network of friends, family, and colleagues in support of HCN--and who will help you connect your work to support HCN with your deep values around healing and justice.

Quarterly meetings where we come together, talk, eat, support each other, and dream up creative ways to collaborate and increase our impact.

Optional coaching calls with the trainer to support your efforts.

Connected engagement with HCN’s smart, kind, and caring staff.

We each will build our agency to take action within and with the support of HCN's community!
With these tools in hand, you will host a party or create a joyous and inspiring opportunity to bring people together. And we will help you every step of the way.
