It's been another challenging year for our communities and the urgent need for HCN's services is only growing.
Here are SIX different ways to support HCN's transformative work this holiday season! Help us empower children, youth, and families towards a brighter future by choosing the ways that work best for you.
6 ways you can get involved this season –
1. DONATE When you make a tax-deductible donation to HCN, you support our work with homeless and at-risk children, youth, and families in San Francisco.
We provide mental health services, case management, youth leadership, family support services, and more to over 2,400 clients each year, at no cost to families.
This holiday season your gift can make a critical impact for children and families.
Every $1.25 covers one more minute of mental health care for children, youth, and families. Help us reach our goal of funding 222 hours before the end of the year! Every minute counts.
2. GIVE MONTHLY
Help us reach our goal and become a recurring donor! HCN has a goal to raise funds to support 222 hours of clinical care and sign up 24 new recurring donors before the end of this year.
A monthly recurring donation in any amount allows you to spread out your gift across the entire year, making it easier on your budget. PLUS, recurring donors help ensure the organization is sustainable with funds coming in each month. You can change or cancel your monthly gift at any time.

3. MATCH When you make a gift this holiday season, your employer may double your donation.
Make sure that you maximize your impact and check with your company to see if they have a matching gifts program*.
If your employer doesn't list Homeless Children's Network as an option for matching gifts, ask them to add HCN or contact us and let us know how to join.
What’s an employer matching program?: Corporate matching gifts are a type of philanthropy in which companies financially match donations that their employees make to nonprofit organizations.
4. SHOP Support HCN while you shop this holiday season and beyond!

5. SHARE Share this blog post, our social media posts, and our newsletters with your friends, family members, and colleagues to encourage them to make a donation to Homeless Children's Network.

One major way volunteers can support HCN is by setting up a Facebook or Instagram fundraiser this holiday season.

6. GIVE STOCK Did you know you can give a donation of stock to charity?
It's easy to donate stock and you may be able to avoid taxes by donating stock directly to HCN.
PLUS, if you give a gift of stock by December 31st through HCN's profile on the Donate Stock website, they may match your donation up to $1,000.
This is a gift that offers financial benefits for you and makes a huge impact for the children and families HCN serves.
